A conceptual collection inspired by the fear and anticipation around decay and transformation driving the need to encapsulate fleeting youth and beauty.

The collection explores the impactful incoherence and irony of heavily relying on a subjective and superficial social construct to guide and inform our beliefs and actions as a society.

For time is the only factor contributing to aging and decay, the aim of the collection is to exist outside of time and, thereby, be free of the flow of time, able to express the past, present, and future, simultaneously.

This concept is materialized through designs and colors derived from two motifs: precious stones and metals, and hummingbirds. These contrasting entities oppose in their solidity, rapidity, and durability, and unite in their beauty, and tactile appeal. The hummingbird encompasses youth, vivacity, and joy, while precious stones symbolize wisdom, heritage, stability, and rootedness.

The conceptual collection represents jewel-tone silks, molded gold, and feather trims in an array of evening-inspired silhouettes.

Balancing one another in harmony, they unite in expressing the encapsulation of eternal beauty and display a hopeful fear-relieving message.

« de premier choix » is a resortwear concept which draws inspiration from Casablanca’s Moroccan roots. Relying on the country’s extensive heritage (architecture, craftsmanship, culture) and on the tourism perspective (resort-life), « de premier choix » addresses themes on warm exploration and alluring escapism. The 5-look collection with accessory exploration takes the customer on a journey through activity-related head-to-toe outfits. It features swimwear, trousers, shorts, skirts, tops, cover-ups, and outerwear. On vacation, the customer gains access to an array of mix-and-match items that all share the same dedication to detail and elegance with a touch of lux. Tying in with Casablanca’s ethos, “de premier choix” illustrates the moment of bliss which subsides the tiring daytime activities, anticipating the nighttime -the après-sport aesthetic. Bringing together sophistication and adventure, « de premier choix » offers a distinguished post-apocalyptic mood in an array of tans with dynamic neon pops of fuchsia and chartreuse. Tasteful and youthful, the collection is addressed to Casablanca’s millennial audience and expends its reach to a more mature clientele.
